We'll ask about three things: AI tools people use directly (like ChatGPT or Claude), AI features already built into apps you pay for (like Salesforce or Microsoft 365), and any custom systems your team may have built. Most businesses find more than they expected.
At the end, you'll get a plain-language summary you can download, print, or share with whoever needs to see it — a partner, an accountant, an IT contractor, or just yourself for later.
Check anything anyone uses — including tools people signed up for on their own, not just ones the business officially bought.
This is the part most businesses miss. A lot of software you already pay for has quietly added AI features — check the ones you use, and we'll ask what's turned on.
This means something built in-house — a chatbot, an automated workflow, a script that calls Claude or OpenAI, that kind of thing. Most small businesses have none. Some have several.
Nothing here has been sent anywhere. It only exists in this browser until you download or share it.
This checklist is the first step. The full written workflow walks you through deciding what each of these AI tools should actually be allowed to do, and how to check that it's working.
